ABOUT MY PRACTICE

I am a designer and educator, currently an Associate Professor at the Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University. I begin with historical archives and everyday fragments, moving from their surfaces toward what lies behind and within: obscured relationships, overlooked people, and forms of knowledge that cannot be learned from books alone.

I transform these materials into graphics, interactions, and works of art. For me, design is neither celebration nor the delivery of a definitive answer. It is a way of arranging attention—inviting people to approach, compare, question, and form their own understanding.
